Ingredients:

  • 200g of pasta
  • 100g of tomatoes, diced
  • 50g of onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 inch of ginger, grated
  • 1 green chili, chopped
  • 1 tsp of cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp of coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp of garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Strainer
  • Frying Pan
  • Mixing Spoon

Instructions:

  • Boil the pasta in a pot of salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a frying pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • Add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger to the pan. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
  • Add diced tomatoes and green chili. Cook until tomatoes soften, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  • Sprinkle garam masala over the pasta and mix gently to combine.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
