Ingredients:

  • 400g of boneless chicken breast
  • 200g of plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons of garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 inch of ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 250g of tomato puree
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, garam masala, turmeric, chili powder, lemon juice, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create a marinade.
  • Add the boneless chicken breast pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Allow marinating for at least 15 minutes.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  • Once the onion is ready, add the marinated chicken pieces and cook until they start to brown.
  • Pour in the tomato puree and mix well, letting it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Season with salt to taste and cook for an additional 3 minutes, ensuring the chicken is fully cooked through.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh coriander.
