Spicy Barbecue Pork Sliders
Ingredients:
- 800g of pork shoulder
- 100ml of barbecue sauce
- 50g of brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 200g of slider buns
- 150g of coleslaw mix
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Oven
- Blender
- Barbecue
- Air Fryer
- Stove Top
- Slow Cooker
Instructions:
- Preheat the slow cooker on low heat.
- Season the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the spices well into the meat.
- Place the seasoned pork shoulder in the slow cooker and pour the barbecue sauce over it along with the brown sugar.
- Cover the slow cooker and let the pork cook for about 6-8 hours until it's tender and easy to shred.
- Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Mix it back with the barbecue sauce in the slow cooker.
- In a blender, blend the coleslaw mix with a little barbecue sauce until it's slightly creamy but still has texture.
- To serve, toast the slider buns lightly in the oven or air fryer. Fill each bun with a generous amount of the shredded pork and top with coleslaw.
- Serve the spicy barbecue pork sliders warm.
