Spicy Barbecue Pork Sliders

Ingredients:

  • 800g of pork shoulder
  • 100ml of barbecue sauce
  • 50g of brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 200g of slider buns
  • 150g of coleslaw mix

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven
  • Blender
  • Barbecue
  • Air Fryer
  • Stove Top
  • Slow Cooker

Instructions:

  • Preheat the slow cooker on low heat.
  • Season the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the spices well into the meat.
  • Place the seasoned pork shoulder in the slow cooker and pour the barbecue sauce over it along with the brown sugar.
  • Cover the slow cooker and let the pork cook for about 6-8 hours until it's tender and easy to shred.
  • Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Mix it back with the barbecue sauce in the slow cooker.
  • In a blender, blend the coleslaw mix with a little barbecue sauce until it's slightly creamy but still has texture.
  • To serve, toast the slider buns lightly in the oven or air fryer. Fill each bun with a generous amount of the shredded pork and top with coleslaw.
  • Serve the spicy barbecue pork sliders warm.
