Delicious Cob Loaf Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 large cob loaf
  • 250g of cream cheese
  • 100g of sour cream
  • 150g of grated cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh chives, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 200g of cooked bacon, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Cut the top off the cob loaf and hollow out the inside, leaving about 1cm of bread on the sides and bottom.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, grated cheese, chopped chives, Worcestershire sauce, and cooked bacon.
  • Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  • Fill the hollowed-out cob loaf with the dip mixture, pressing gently to pack it in.
  • Place the filled cob loaf on a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve with the removed bread pieces for dipping.
